Rize Governor Erdoğan Bektaş, Deputy Mayor Sultan Yilmaz, RTB Chairman Mehmet Erdoğan, RTB Assembly President Resul Okumuş, Rize institutional representatives, agricultural engineers and tea producers participated in the meeting.

Educational Organic Agriculture Will Be Added Value

Ridok Chairman Sedat Yaşar Kandemir at the meeting gave information about the project to the participants. Within the scope of the project, 3 days of theoretical 1 day land application will be completed and the training will be completed. "We are working to sustain natural life as Ridok. Organic farming practice for tea is vital for our health. We have done such a study in order to raise public awareness. This training will give added value to the application of organic farming tea, "he said.

We Can Normalize Our Life With Organic Farming

In Rize, Rize Governor Bektaş emphasized that tea farming is a great effort in the past to organize, "Organic agriculture is my interest. Today, we are having problems, we have problematic eating habits, our life habits are problematic. Why are we opening so many hospitals? Illness will not come to an end unless we correct these problems. To be able to normalize our life, we need to be healthy first of all. We can only do this with organic farming. I thank Ridok for organizing such a training in this framework. I hope that organic agriculture will pass through as soon as possible, we can succeed in removing these chemicals from our lives. "

We must pass the machine

RTB Parliament Speaker Okumus, who made a presentation on organic agriculture in the meeting, said, "We have 5 seals with 250 thousand tons of tea producing countries in the world. In Japan, especially in South Korea and China, machine-based farming was passed. In other producer countries, there are both manual and machine farming practices. In order to sustainable tea cultivation in our country, we have to go through mechanized cultivation in tea gardens. Unfortunately, we do not have any young producers. Tea gardens are either given to racial or Georgian workers because middle-aged people can not handle tea in their hands. In mechanized agriculture, the rugged terrain of our region is always set as a preliminary obstacle, but believe that in other countries that produce tea, there are landmarks like ours. We can do it if they can, "he said.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan University Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Sciences Dean Professor. Dr. Fatih Seyis and Fruit Growing and Rehabilitation Horticulture Husband Assist. Assoc. Dr. Keziban Yazıcı made informative presentation about organic farming application in tea.
