Has been designated as "Black Tea Proficiency Test Provider" by our laboratory after necessary inspections within the scope of Interlaboratory Comparison and Proficiency Tests (LAC & PT) which is one of the important components of the Project for Strengthening Quality Infrastructure in Turkey (TKAG). There is a serious gap in the provision of proficiency testing in our country and participation is especially made in the cycles organized abroad for the proficiency tests required in the accreditation process.
Within the scope of the project, our laboratory staff first trained in ISO 17043 "General Principles for Compliance Evaluation - Proficiency Test" and ISO 13528 "Statistics Techniques Used in Laboratory Comparisons and Proficiency Experiments".
A homogenous Black Tea sample was prepared within the LAK / YT cycle at the Black Tea Sample and the homogenization studies were made at the Çaykur Research Institute laboratory. The prepared sample was sent to 24 participants including 8 parameters in Black Tea analyzes on 28.11.2011. The result report was prepared on 02.02.2012 and the participants were informed of the result.
One of the important objectives of the project is to ensure continuity in proficiency tests and to continue this process after the project. Our laboratory is also planning to continue its activities as a provider of Proficiency Testing by constantly improving itself as experienced in cycles after the completion of the project.
